Puff Prints Heat Pressing Instructions

Step 1 - Prepare Your Apparel:

  • Set your heat press to medium to high pressure.
  • Press the fabric at 310-320°F (154-160°C) for 4-5 seconds to remove any moisture.
  • Ensure the fabric is clean, flat, and free of wrinkles.

Step 2 - Position the Design:

Carefully place the puff print vinyl on your apparel in the desired position. Use a t-shirt ruler for precise alignment.

Step 3 - First Press:

  • Close the heat press or apply medium to firm pressure with an iron.
  • Close the heat press and apply medium to firm pressure at 300-310°F (149-154°C) for 10 seconds.
    Note: Always perform a test press to determine the correct temperature and time, as settings may vary based on fabric type and equipment.

Step 4 - Peel Off:

Peel off the transfer paper when it is Cool or 10 seconds after pressing.

Step 5 - Second Press:

  • Apply direct pressure on the transfer without any additional layers.
  • Press directly on the transfer without any covering for 3-5 seconds at 310-320°F (154-160°C).

Step 6 - Post-Press Care:

Wait 24 hours before washing. For best results and longevity, wash the garment inside out in cold water, use mild detergent, avoid bleach, and tumble dry on low heat. Avoid direct heat on the vinyl.
